SPALECK GmbH & Co. KG builds conveying and separation technology used for recycling metals, wood, and batteries. IoT technology enables service engineers to monitor systems via sensor channels such as vibration.
aiXbrain shall extend the IoT platform with AI to enable early detection of potential problems and possible causes of downtime.
First, Dataray® AI for Predictive Maintenance was launched on the IXON Cloud Marketplace. The Dataray plug-in integrates seamlessly via the IXON Connector with SPALECK data and dashboards.
Through a combination of statistical methods and SPALECK domain expertise, relevant training data was identified. A semi-supervised drift detection model was then trained to run continuously on real-time data.
AI results are visualized in dedicated dashboards; an automatic email alert proactively notifies service personnel. Misidentified or missed data ranges can be conveniently flagged and relabeled so the AI continuously improves.
With Dataray® AI on IXON Cloud, SPALECK found a solution for intelligent and proactive monitoring of all deployed machines. End customers benefit from fast response times and timely repairs, avoiding costly downtime. SPALECK can increase customer satisfaction and optimize spare parts management.
SPALECK uses Dataray AI as a SaaS app on the IXON platform.
