Kuntze Instruments builds measurement and control systems for water analytics across private pools and large industrial facilities. Their Kuntze Cloud Connect® platform lets operators monitor water quality, chemical dosing, and sensor data visualization.
aiXbrain was engaged to enhance the platform's monitoring capabilities using AI, with the shared objective of enabling users to proactively address emerging issues and act at the right moment.
The Dataray® AI Framework was connected to Kuntze Cloud Connect® via a dedicated connector, making sensor data available to all AI models. A semi-supervised anomaly detection model was trained on historical data and refined with input from Kuntze domain experts.
Because whirlpools, swimming pools, and industrial basins differ substantially, separate AI models were trained per category to maximize accuracy. Results are integrated as warning functions directly within the platform.
Combined with MachineGPT, users will soon be able to have dialogue-based interactions about facility status, receiving active support for calibration and troubleshooting.
Adding AI capabilities to Kuntze's water analytics opens new possibilities for proactive maintenance, helping avoid damage and improving the overall user experience.
