It was an intense few days at Hannover Messe 2024. This year, aiXbrain was represented as an exhibitor at the joint booth of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection, and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia. The main topic of the presentation was embedded AI.

The booth

Der aiXbrain StandaiXbrain GmbH was one of around 20 companies and organizations from North Rhine-Westphalia showcasing their products or services.

Artificial intelligence played a particularly important role at this year's Hannover Messe. And so the aiXbrain team was happy to be the focus of attention for trade fair visitors from all over the world. At the world's most important industrial trade fair, a total of more than 4,000 companies from the mechanical engineering, electrical and digital industries, as well as the energy sector, presented solutions for an equally powerful and sustainable industry.

This was accompanied by a wide-ranging program of presentations, in which aiXbrain also participated.

An illustrative flyer with a small Aachen delicacy was very well received by guests at the booth. And it was ideal for explaining the topic of "embedded AI for intelligent machines and processes" in just a few sentences. But the real eye-catcher was the ClickID demonstrator with an intelligent data glove from aiXbrain's customer VOSS Automotive, which was presented at the booth.

Great interest from politicians, the media, and trade fair visitors

Word had already spread in advance via the German Engineering Federation (VDMA) that aiXbrain had a special innovation to showcase, and so both politicians and the media showed great interest. NRW's Minister of Economic Affairs, Mona Neubaur, had aiXbrain's CEO, Dr. Alexander Engels, explain the function and idea behind the ClickID glove and show how "embedded AI" works in practical implementation as the "digital heart" of the application. Embedded AI in the presentation: Opportunities and possible applications

Embedded AI offers a wide range of opportunities and applications. The integration of artificial intelligence into devices and systems enables the development of innovative solutions. These range from improved automation processes to intelligent assistance systems.

Dr Alexander Engels beim VortragIn his presentation on the Embedded Stage at Hannover Messe, aiXbrains CEO Dr. Alexander Engels clearly demonstrated how the integration of artificial intelligence into machines and processes can lead to innovative solutions with economies of scale. aiXbrain implements this in a series of use cases in various forms.

The conclusion

The presentation by aiXbrain at Hannover Messe received a great response. The interest shown by politicians, the media, and trade fair visitors shows that the topic of embedded AI is becoming increasingly relevant. The world's largest industrial trade fair also provided the Aachen-based AI company with numerous contacts, which may lead to future projects. Many discussions and demonstrations showed that the numerous opportunities and possible applications resulting from the integration of artificial intelligence make embedded AI an important tool in an industrial context.
