The glove from Voss Automotive has been specially developed to ensure quality in manual manufacturing processes and optimize interaction between humans and machines. Equipped with various sensors, the ClickID glove contains AI models from aiXbrain that are integrated into the microprocessor. These enable the assembly process to be recognized and checked in real time.
ClickID uses the built-in AI from aiXbrain to analyze and evaluate the precise assembly of a wide variety of plug connections.
The glove proves particularly effective in the automotive industry, especially when installing cable harnesses in hard-to-reach places such as doors or the center console. Here, the quality of the employees' work plays a decisive role, as faulty connections often cause hidden costs.

The glove wearer receives immediate feedback directly via LEDs, without the need for a physical interface such as a mouse or joystick. The ClickID glove is equipped with audio and motion sensors that ensure that both the clicking sound of the assembly is detected and that the movement matches the assembly. The combination of these sensors guarantees that only the correct assembly operations are detected and prevents confusion with neighboring workstations.

ClickID gives the user immediate visual and haptic feedback as soon as an assembly operation has been performed incorrectly or successfully. Thanks to the feedback, assembly errors can be corrected immediately. This eliminates the need for rework and thus reduces productivity losses. That's why previous users of the glove are enthusiastic: the immediate feedback on the plugging process provided by the glove creates a new positive and motivating work experience. The sensors continuously collect audio and motion data and visualize it in a personalized dashboard with timestamps. The integrated artificial intelligence uses this sensor data for analysis.

The models specially created by the aiXbrain developers compare the data with pre-learned patterns and provide clear feedback (via a yellow label) on whether the assembly was completed successfully or not.

The results of the assembly monitoring can either be stored locally or in the cloud. Important statistical information is transmitted to VOSS via a REST API in order to continuously improve the artificial intelligence and thus guarantee the most precise detection of assembly quality.
ClickID and its embedded AI from aiXbrain are revolutionizing end-of-line inspection. Precise error detection and real-time feedback optimize quality assurance, minimize rework, and increase productivity.
The use of high-quality sensor technology, coupled with aiXbrain's continuously learning AI models, is a truly scalable starting point. In the future, other assembly processes, such as screw connections, will also be analyzed and verified in this way. Supporting humans in the sense of human-centered AI offers new possibilities in the industrial environment.
